A Bit of History
There is a growing trend of inexperienced designers charging ridiculous amounts of money for poorly designed and constructed web sites. This all relates to when the profession of 'web design' was first appearing in the 90's.

We wanted to provide companies with the web site they deserve, without having to worry about being taken advantage of, or having a poorly designed (and costly!) web site.

With a little courage and a determined mindset, redrhino was brought to life way back in 1999 so that we could concentrate on developing sites on a full-time basis and enjoy life at the same time.

So, where did the redrhino name come from?
This is the most common question we are asked! The redrhino name was primarily inspired by the 'Rhinocerology' series of books by Scott Alexander. These easy-to-read and humorous books provide inspiration for anyone wishing to achieve a better balance in their life - covering work, family and spiritual matters. So, grab yourself a copy from Amazon here, become a rhino and "Charge!".

Where in the world?
redrhino is based in Northern Ireland but the nature of the Internet means that web design work can readily be done from wherever in the World. We have clients for our various services on four continents and we'll not let a few extra miles come between you and a great service. Providing you speak English, as we do not pretend to be linguists, redrhino would be delighted to be commissioned to bring your organisation to the Internet.

Associations

	redrhino is a member of the Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry. NICCI is an independent and not for profit organisation with straightforward objectives - to promote business between its members and others and, in doing so, to represent the best interests of the community by encouraging commercial growth and so, local prosperity.
	redrhino is also a member of TradeNet. TradeNet is a business-to-business network, providing SME's (Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise) with a matching service for sourcing customers, suppliers and trading partners in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

What can we do for you?
Our past work is our advertising, and we want your web site to be the best it can possibly be as much as you do. At the same time, we don't simply want to be your design firm. We like to learn about the people and companies we work with. Many of our clients have turned into good friends, and are always coming back for advice, or referring their friends to us. We don't charge by the hour or put projects on the 'back burner'. We'll take the hassle out of the project and we're happy when you are happy.
