There are millions of web pages out there with more being created every day. Why should someone come to yours, and more importantly, why should they come back? You must keep your site looking fresh, stylish and up-to-date.
It is quite common for first-time web sites to have been designed on a restricted budget by a friend or an amateur web designer – this has given you a foothold but a dated looking, badly performing web site may be worse than not having a web site at all. Your organisation’s profile on the internet is solely determined by your web site and, poorly presented, it could give entirely the wrong first impression to your customers and potential customers. Would you go into a shop which looked dated, was about to fall apart and hadn’t been maintained for years?
It is also possible that your site was designed mainly for looks and little attention was paid to attracting visitors coming from Search Engines. Perhaps you were never really totally happy with the initial design style in the first place?
Re-designing a web site need not be the burden you may anticipate. If still appropriate, we can use the existing content (with rearrangement of text to make your site more “Search Engine Friendly”) and so it may not be like starting from scratch. This helps keep costs down too!
